Anónimo ha dicho: if you havent seen once the musical on stage you have to, ive been twice and i still want to go again its incredible!!!

I had seen the movie a thousand times and it’s truly one of my favourites. I would love to see the musical on stage too but sadly there’s any shows where I life :( I hope you really enjoy it and thanks for the recommendation!

I’ve only seen the film Once about…a dozen or so times…
But the more I watch it, the more I realize that this is my favorite scene.
Marketa’s singing The Hill and it’s this extremely powerful and tragic song and she’s like a ticking time bomb. And as she sings it, she just completely falls apart until she has to stop playing. And Glen’s watching her and his brow is furrowed and he wants so desperately to comfort her but what can he do? Not much.
The musical did this scene beautifully, it did, but I don’t think anything will compare to the intimacy of this scene in the film. It’s flawless.

And games that never amount to more than they’re meant will play themselves out.
